About six months ago, Mosso was approached by Microsoft to participate in their “Go Live” program for IIS 7. We were extremely eager to get involved in this program because we had literally pushed IIS 6 to its limits and we knew that we needed to make an early investment in IIS 7 in order to continue offering a compelling platform. After evaluating the features and advancements, we were sold and began developing the platform that will allow us to continue to scale our system beyond the capabilities of IIS 6.

Welcome to the Mosso blog. Mosso is a company created especially for people who are using their passion and talents to create unique, amazing web applications. We love our customers because they are some of the most creative designers, developers, and thinkers on the internet.

This is an important point in our company’s history for us to join the ranks of blogging companies: 2008 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for Mosso, and we’ve been needing a place to publicly share some of our ideas and plans.

Over the next few months, we’ll be presenting some exciting new developments: we’re radically expanding our platform and infrastructure, launching a complete rewrite of our software and control panels, and making some changes to how we package and sell Mosso services.

None of this would be possible without the hard work of the Mosso team—a team that has grown considerably over the last year. You’ll get to meet many of the Mosso employees here in this blog as they post technical articles relevant to our platform and the web development community at large.
